Cloth Diapers

Dear Munchkin,
This weekend I bought your first set of cloth diapers! They are so totally cool. I am trying not to buy too many of them until we have your child care situation settled, since some of the day cares we have looked into are reluctant to use them. I purchased 5 diapers for a little less than half of what they would retail for and have already put in a request for another four from a different lady. The ones pictured below are 4 Kissaluv inserts (I have already ordered 2 diaper covers- on sale!) and 1 Happy Heiny. I really love the fact that we decided to use them and I am amazed at how easy it going to be. I think that cloth diapering is really misunderstood, because it is so much simpler than people think. It sure has come along way since I grew up when it was a burp cloth and diaper pin. I am planning sampling a few different brands/styles until we find what works best for you and your bottom. You are going to look so cute in them. When I feel them, I can not imagine using anything else against your skin. It almost makes me gag to think about the plastic ones, they are so gross! This simple choice saves tons of money, the environment, and is so much better for your overall health. And when we have more babies, they will get to use them as well. What could be better for you?
The whole lot:

hey!

On a forum I go to, they just had a discussion about cloth diapers. They recommended Happy Heineys and Kissaluvs, and mentioned these too:

http://www.kushies.com/
http://www.bummis.com/ (might be a Canadian site)
http://www.bumgenius.com/
http://www.cottonbabies.com/
http://www.fuzzibunz.com/

And also a diapering forum, to discuss all the different brands out there, pros and cons - and diapers for sale/swap too. http://www.diaperswappers.com/

Hope that helps. :)
