Dearest Owen,
As usual, I went in your room this morning to check on you before I got in the shower. I knew you were awake because I had been listening to you making some noise for a while before dragging myself out of bed. As I leaned over your crib, you greeted me with a gigantic grin and starting wiggling around in excitement. It literally took my breath away. Your smile makes my heart swell and all of my worries melt away. My whole world is brighter now and I can't imagine life before your smile. I love you so much.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I was amazed to discover how much I missed you guys over these past four days! I have visited your blog and photo album (everyday i think!) and I was so proud to show Owen's pictures to my family and friends that visited for Christmas.
I know you are having so much fun sharing Owen with your family and spending some extra time with him! He is a very special boy and every day I see more and more of his sweet intelligent personality and his determination to learn and grow. With God's grace and loving, dedicated parents like you, Owen will continue to bloom and be a blessing to everyone around him!
