Dear Owen,
Today you are three months old. I seriously can't believe it, three whole months have gone by. This month has been very exciting for us since you are really starting to develop your personality. You smile, wiggle, bicycle your arms and legs, are starting to use your voice, and are sleeping solidly through the night. But most importantly, you recognize your Daddy and I. It's seriously cute. And I am not just saying that because I'm your Mom. The past month started off rough since it marked my return to work. Lucky for us, Nanny Aimee is home with you and we are all adjusting to the new schedule. She loves you a whole lot and takes great care of you. It is definitely a relief to me to know that you are in loving capable hands. Please don't misunderstand, I still race to get home to you each day and think about you all day long. Most days I still cry at work, but it is getting easier.
You have grown into quite the little boy this month. We no longer use the swaddle blanket at night which has allowed you to move all over the place. You haven't roll over yet, but we have found you perched on your side quite a bit. I am sure it won't be long before you figure out you can do it! You have also discovered the mobile in your crib and are working on self entertainment. We will probably be starting you on some solid foods over the next month or so. Right now, you eat four bottles of 7 Oz's a day and feel like you are gaining weight nicely. We don't go back to Doctor Davis until the middle of February, so that will be your next weigh in. Your Daddy and I keep talking about how fast the past three months have gone by. We can't wait to see what month four holds for us. I love you son.
Love,
Mom
